It’s made from one sheet of 3/4″ plywood and 8 2×4’s and can be made with just a circular saw, miter saw, a pocket hole jig and set of drills.  Add an optional sheet of ply to cover the interior and hold small parts on this wood rack.

I bought this plan but modded it a bit. Essentially I built it out of scrap lumber and plywood I had lying around, which was exactly why I needed the cart. So it’s not as pretty but highly useful. I ended up making the cart 3′ wide as opposed to the 28″ the plans called for, and also made the center shelves two or three inches wider. The plans were very helpful in giving me a solid place to start from. They were clear and easily adaptable. I was able to move all my plywood, boards, and scrap to the cart, which in turn freed up all the space in my workbench for other items. Very happy with the build!
