Today I’m hanging out with my blogging buddy Brittany over at Pretty Handy Girl and taking part in her Rockstar DIY Tour. I’ve always loved state signs and cut outs and I’ve even built some big palletwood signs in the past. For this project I wanted to do a small piece and I also wanted to wrangle my ever-disappearing keys. So I made this sweet State Pride Magnetic Key Holder. If you like Home Decor projects I have a bunch more on my Home Decor project page.
And make sure to follow me on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest to keep up with all my latest builds and free projects!
Here are all the items you’ll need to make this project:

- Small Piece of Hardwood
- Neodymium Magnets
- Quick Set Epoxy
- Spray Adhesive
- Picture Hanging Hardware
I used a really nice piece of figured walnut for the project, and threw in some magnets to hold those darn keys in place. Head on over to Brittany’s site and check out the project tutorial!
